He is one of those horses you'll likely look over bc he is 10 and a bit body sore bc he hasn't been turned out in 6+ years but wish you didn't when you see him going in 30 days after he has a little bit of simple turn out. He is a TRUE war horse and has the classy and kindness to go along with that title. His legs are extremely clean, he's well built, and I promise you he's going to hold up to whatever job you want to give him. He is willing and so kind, going to be a horse that is a simple and straight forward restart that someone is going to be able to have a blast with. Just raced 8/2 (hints the body soreness on the old mam he hasn't been out of his stall since race day)
No bad habits. He is simply a diamond in the rough and I would love to keep tabs on him and be able to see how he doesn't in his new life!
These war horses that race this long and retire with no blemishes are few and far between. They're made so well with great bone and they're built to last.
The ONLY reason he is retiring is because he isn't showing the interest he use to. This horse has loved his life as a racehorse and now it's time for him to enjoy something else.
