I feel like I've said this a lot lately, luckily we have had some amazing horses come through the barn.. BUT.. this horse isntruly special. I actually think he is perfect in every single way and could easily with just a few more miles take kiddos around, he is just THAT GOOD.
Stands tied in the washroom without a card in the world... today his tail got caught on the shovel and he pulled it off the wall and he didn't even flinch (even some of the best horses would freak out)
Great ground manners, great in his stall, great turned out with other horses. He is just GREAT.
Stands to be mounted. He is a dream to ride with the most comfortable and relaxing trot. About as willing as a horse can be and this is just the beginning of his learning stage so I can't imagine how truly special he will be when he is finished out!
Picks up both leads very easy at the canter... today he jumped for the very first time and when I day he is as honest as they come.. HE IS HONEST AND ACTS LIKE HE HAS BEEN DOING IT HIS WHOLE LIFE. This is a horse I could mess around with all day and he would never put a foot wrong.... again, he is just so perfect. He deserves the kindest home with all the love and treats he can get!
A little background on him... In 2023 he did have a pin put in his knee. The surgery was successful and he came back and raced successfully sound this year just didn't show much speed. Last race was in July and he enjoyed a little turnout before starting back under saddle. Surgeon said it has healed beautifully and he would say no limitations or restrictions for him which is fantastic!
He has NO vices or behavioral issues. I would confidently let my 5 year old daughter do anything around this horse without hesitation.
He is just starting to look for his home but we are in no rush to see him go... he deserves the perfect match! I may even dare to say, I LOVE him.
