Rock is one of the sweetest/low key horses you'll find. He fractured his sesamoid back in 2022 and went through rehab then came back to race 2023-2024. I know nothing about the actual injury, I just know that racing became too much for him and his connections chose to retire him rather than risk it. He came to the farm, adjusted flawlessly and has caused zero issues. His biggest problem is he will not protect himself and will get beat up in the field (see the photos as he still has marks on him) he will need friends that are not going to beat him up!!!!
Currently in front shoes. Can be outside or inside as long as he is getting fed he is a pretty easy keeper.
Light cribber, we have a strap on him and he's never offered to crib through it.
Could be someone's trail horse, as he is amazing on the trails or could teach lower level lessons.
He is being offered FREE TO THE BEST HOME. You will need a current equine vet reference. A donation to our non profit that helps horses like him would be greatly appreciated but no mandatory.
