TB/Belgium X
Jake came and hung out for awhile after his lease was up bc he was put out to pasture and needed a job. All I can say is WHAT A COOL HORSE. I have been one to always ride TBs with the occasional QH or WB and it was such a cool experience having him in the barn. Excellent manners, quiet... very QUIET, he has no soundness issues and has competed up to Novice. He has tons of life left in him (I promise) and willingly does whatever is asked of him. Gaits are to die for, he is SO smooth! Surprisingly hits the ground very lightly and also has a nice CONFIDENT jump even being a little out of shape. He could be a packer for someone wanting to get the experience or could double as that "older person horse" that takes care of you. Would be great out on the hunt field, he is totally unbothered by anything... can continue on with eventing and YES he is handy enough for the jumper ring.
Owners absolutely love this guy. They are willing to do a lease to the most perfect home and if sold they are willing to take him back and put him in their pasture to live out his days when he does retire. They want him to be totally set for the rest of his life.
Jake's only flaw is he is a cribber.. it is controlled with a collar!

If you think he would work for our (award winning) low volume return to riding one on one confidence building program for adults a few days a week as well as a beginner trot/canter vaulting horse (ie he doesn’t mind one day a week with kids playing and loving on him while they hold gymnastic poses on his well padded surcingle & pad and then travel once a month to AVA competitions without cribbing their stalls apart...let’s talk! Near Toledo.
All his info is directly above in the post
He is available
Did he find his new home? How much are they asking to Lease him? Is love now info on this guy. Ty
