Jack has been with us a few months and he is REALLY enjoying life off the track. He has been a solid citizen causing absolutely NO drama. Loves his turnout time and honestly he is pretty respectful with having friends that are close to him while turned out (no screaming or studying behavior) Would make an excellent gelding. He is an easy and straight forward ride, no funny business. Very first ride off the track was bareback. My daughter, who is 5 handles him and he is always very safe and respectful. Not spooky, not aggressive. He is your typical coly baby and he likes to put things in his mouth whether it be a pitchfork, your shirt, his halter while you're trying to get it on or etc... if you're not familiar with this you may think it's a bad behavior, however it is pretty normal with young colts and does go away with gelding 99.9% of the time. Doesn't really have a mean bone in his body and he had the best brain.
Straight off the track he was very high energy and needed time to just come down and be a horse, so that's exactly what we gave him. Comes from great connections. His owner is very partial to him and wants to see him in loving hands... which he deserves 100%
Left his mane long as he could easily go English or Western and it's easier to pull it than try and grow it back.
