This guy is a bit of a project. He trained through late spring and never showed any potential (have a recorded work 8/22 so will be RRP eligible) then he was turned out on grass only with no grain and got really skinny. I brought him to the farm a few months ago and he is picking up weight but could use some more. He ears great and does actually thrive outside as long as he is getting fed twice a day ... equally good in a stall though.
He is 4, yes... but mentality wise I would place him more as a coming 3 year old. He just wasn't given the best foundation on the track in my opinion but he is kind and I think with 1 on 1 work he will learn quick.. with over 30 horses in the barn I do not have that time to give so I've got him healthy and on the right track and he is ready for his person.
He can be a little pushy on the ground, it's something we work on daily and he has been so much better lately. I would consider him green, but again he has trained so he should have the basics even if they arent the best trained.
No vices. Gets along with other horses. He is currently barefoot.
I wouldn't consider him a hard keeper but he does need ideal thoroughbred nutrition, he's not going to sit in your pasture and get fat with it.
Has a small spot in his eye, has his vision. I cannot give you a back story, please do not ask.
